Our Members

The Problem

California is in the midst of both a severe housing shortage and a climate crisis—both of which disproportionately impact low-income residents and communities of color. The recent catastrophic wildfires make it clear that we cannot continue the current land use policies that force Californians further into remote areas.

In order to combat these crises, we need to craft policies that incentivize building near jobs and transit and disincentivize sprawl.

Our Mission

Aligning policy decisions with our core principles will create more equitable opportunities for Californians to find and afford housing in safer areas near jobs and transit, reduce the impact of wildfires and other increased threats from climate change, and protect natural and working lands.
